Lokakarya Pelatihan Rumah Kencana Kepada Volunteer dan Animator
Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (YPII) and Indonesia Bhadra Utama (IBU) cooperated to implement the earthquake and tsunami early recovery program in Central Sulawesi based on the protection of children in the context of disaster emergencies by activating Ruang Ramah Anak Paska Bencana (child friendly space) psychosocial support service activities (Rumah Kencana) for adolescent aged 12-18 years in 5 selected villages in Donggala and Sigi District.
One of program output is IBU conducted training for participants including local volunteers and animators/facilitator involved in child-centered psychosocial support programs in Sigi District and Donggala District, Central Sulawesi. Training conducted on January 17-19 2019. The session presented included Psychological First Aid (PFA), psychosocial support for children and adolescents, Child Protection in Emergency (CPiE), and Rumah Kencana Grand Design.
After participating in training, participants prepared an action plan for Rumah Kencana activities to be carried out in all villages assisted areas. So, participants can actively participate in determining the activity plan in the Rumah Kencana Program.
