During the project implementation in Site, IBU founded several challenges on managing the logistic, procurement, and transportation that affected leadership and negotiation aspects within the team. Based on the discussion between IBU with The Country Representatives from IMC, Yogi Mahendra, there was an initial agreement regarding institutional capacity building for IBU Foundation to improve organizational capacities, especially on operational management. By reviewing organizational strategic plan, IBU decided to propose this workshop to be facilitated by IMC. Therefore, after determining the availability of time between IBU and IMC, IBU HQ team organize the workshop by inviting several staff and volunteers to participate in the meeting. The training is also participated by KUN Humanity System, who also the implementing partner program with IMC.
Regarding the purpose of this training, participant improves their capacity of the participant on logistic management (including procurement & transportation management) and basic of leadership & negotiation, and of course
maintaining the network & relation between IBU Foundation, International Medical Corps, and KUN Humanity System.
