Ariella Vivi
Mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi, Universitas Padjajaran (Psychology Major, Padjajaran University)
My internship began on July 11, 2019. When I first came to IBU Foundation office on Jalan Banjarnegara No. 14, I feel worried. But everyone I met here helped me to learn more, includes my interns mate from different universities and majors. One thing that is quite interesting to me is the ‘learning contract’ activity which contains the goals, expectations, and action plans that we write down to further review whether IBU Foundation can facilitate our internship expectations. This kind of activity was actually familiar to me while studying at my college, but still felt amazed when the IBU Foundation also carried out this kind of activity.
I learned a lot of lessons during my internship at IBU Foundation, starts from managing content to publications, disaster management, HR management in IBU Foundation, program implementation tools, concept notes, to knowledge management. These sessions made me even more interested in community services.

Mahasiswi Politeknik Kesejahteraan Sosial Bandung (Bandung Polytechnic of Social Welfare)
During my internship, I was given training such as Organizing, Planning, Human Resources, and Fundraising and Information System (POHFI). Previously, while I studying, I was totally don’t know about how to file a minute’s meeting, how to organize, and how to write reports. But after the capacity development given by IBU Foundation staff, I learned how to work in an NGO.
An internship at IBU Foundation encouraged me to become a more creative person, to think critically, thoroughly, and to be more eager to serve in the social services.

So much knowledge is available in this world, we as human beings have a duty to seek and obtain as much knowledge as possible. That is the main reason why I decided to do an internship at IBU Foundation. I hope that with this internship at IBU Foundation, My experiences improved, and make new friends. Besides that, because one of my life goals is to be someone who is useful for others.
I feel grateful and happy to be able to share my knowledge and experience with IBU Foundation. I hope after the internship at IBU Foundation, I can still participate with IBU. Thank you very much for all the sharing regarding the experience and knowledge that has been given to me. Hopefully, IBU Foundation will always be one place for those who want to study. Best of luck!.
